Finance Manager, AWS Sales and Marketing
This role has the opportunity for significant visibility and impact working closely with finance and business leaders to develop financial and analytical insights to evaluate health of the business, provide key insights, identify paths to improve the overall productivity and callout risks/opportunities.
This role is also a liaison, program leader, and consultant on various business and technical topics intersecting ASP team and AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) identifying new opportunities for collaboration with peer groups and cross functional teams across SMGS which provides visibility, establishes strategies and investments for nonlinear growth in ASP pipeline and revenue.
Primary responsibilities:- Supports executive mechanisms and insights including C-suite callouts.
- Develops and owns ASP productivity models.
- Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections for Partner Organization key drivers, and critical trends that inform actionable recommendations to address business risks and opportunities.
- Provides adhoc support and enablement to Partner leaders.
- Looks holistically across ASP and SMGS to help inform decisions on enablement, coverage, and programs that impact productivity to drive organization efficiency.
- Coordinate cross functionally with teams to collect and share best practices.
- Develop/implement productivity tools/reporting for the Partner teams to adopt.
- Partner Finance productivity liaison to peer SMGS finance teams, providing visibility into how Partner bottlenecks and productivity impacts SMGS.
- Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives.
- Establish and refine productivity measurements of our Partner and Partner Sales resources, identifying trends that inform steps for improvement.
- Provide strategic support to key business mechanisms and insights that impact organizational productivity, pipeline and revenue.
- Lead short-and long-term financial planning of pipeline/revenue productivity, including financial modeling, investment rationalization, and document development for planning reviews.
- Improve SMGS finance enablement through the development of reporting and trainings to heighten awareness of opportunities and relevancy of the Partner organization for their respective sales, marketing, or functional finance support roles.

- 5+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
- 3+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
- Knowledge of concepts of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
