Responsibilities:

• Handle general ledger maintenance and daily balancing
• Conduct bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Process accounts payable responsibilities
• Handle ACH and wire transfers
• Conduct monthly processing of depreciation accrual report
• Approve bank invoices, review documents, and process payments to vendors
• Manage the bank's debit and credit card program, including payment posting, reporting, and charge-offs
• Conduct audits of new accounts and review closed account report check list audits
• Prepare documents for audits and perform general account maintenance
• Manage various department functions in the absence of staff members or in overload situations
• Perform other duties such as follow-ups, new card orders, lost and stolen, and portfolio performance

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or strong knowledgeable of accounting without degree

2 to 15 plus years accounting general ledger, month end close

Understanding of GAAP – accruals vs cash

Bank reconciliations; general ledger reconciliation

Accounts payable responsibilities

Ability to multitask and interact with others

Excel v look up and pivot tables.
