education: High School

• Performs all regularly scheduled preventive maintenance inspections as prescribed by quality assurance and maintains records.
• Diagnoses and corrects mechanical and electrical troubles to involve repairs and replacement of controls, motors, switches, devices, etc.
• Assists in diagnosing and correcting electronic troubles.
• Replaces and fits bearings, bushings, gears, shafts, etc. using a broad range of hand and machine tools.
• Makes all proper adjustments to insure accurate and efficient operations.
• May assign work to and instruct, train and assist other employees, including but not limited to maintenance trainees or apprentices.
• Assists Plant Engineer with ordering maintenance supplies and spare parts, and participates in troubleshooting involving the machine tool manufacturer.
• Uses advanced shop mathematics and a variety of measuring devices that require interpretation in various applications.
