Medical Assistant

Work schedule is 8 hour days, Monday - Friday with shifts starting as early as 5:30 am, 6:00 am, and 6:30 am. Weekend and holiday is rotational. Weekend and holiday shifts are 5:30 am- 10:30 am Saturday and Sunday.

• Computer data entry
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures such as insemination's, hysterosalpingograms, hysteroscopies and oocyte retrievals. (On the job training will be provided for these additional duties as needed.)
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment/autoclave
• Stocking rooms
• Scheduling surgeries

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certification in medical assisting preferred
• A minimum of 3 years as a medical assistant
• Possess a customer service attitude recognizing the importance of a positive patient experience
• Ability to work at a fast pace and endure high volumes independently
• Excellent venipuncture technique; able to successfully draw difficult patients
• Data entry and retrieval skills using a computer
• Ability to accurately and effectively communicate with patients and staff
• Ability to work as early as 5:30 AM

Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
