We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk: II (Intermediate) based in Richfield, Minnesota. This role is vital for our team, focusing on the energy industry. The successful candidate will provide support in various business operations and account management tasks, contributing significantly to the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations Manager in managing core systems and wholesale operations processing activities.
• Support the Account Management team in resolving customer issues.
• Collaborate closely with key partners such as accounting, supply, and IT to achieve objectives and resolve issues.
• Generate and analyze daily and monthly product reports, and handle variance analyses.
• Provide regular and ad hoc data requests for sales teams and senior leaders.
• Contribute to the automation and improvement of processes and systems where applicable.
• Uphold a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct complex analysis, distilling information into simple reports.
• Engage in change efforts, influencing internal customers, and building relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must possess strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
• Experience in sales and marketing is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools is required.
• Previous experience in project management is preferred.
• A strong understanding of contracts and finance is necessary.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies and logistics is beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively is required.
• Knowledge of regulations and safety guidelines within the accounting field is preferred.
• Experience with automation tools and Oracle software is beneficial.
• Ability to manage accounts effectively is required.
• Experience in variance analysis and dynamics is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with racking systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and operations is required.
