Cannabis Technician
Job Summary: The Cultivation Technician will work as part of the Cultivation Team to execute daily tasks including but not limited to vegetative propagation, transplant, pruning, trellising, harvesting, irrigation, IPM and cleaning/sanitizing with the goal of efficiently and effectively producing high quality cannabis flower while meeting timelines and adhering to all standards and regulations.
Salary: $18 per hour and up depending on experience
Duties and Responsibilities- Works with the Cultivation Team to execute the production schedule.
- Propagation: Process cuttings, Clone Maintenance, Labeling, Monitoring and Transplant
- Plant Maintenance: Environmental Monitoring, Trellising, Pruning, Decongestion, Defoliation, Irrigation and
- Scouting
- Harvest: Chopping, Plucking, Cleaning/Sanitizing and Room Reset
- General cultivation area/tools/materials inventory, organization, and maintenance
- Environmental Data Collection using handheld instruments.
- IPM
- Irrigation: Minor plumbing repairs, Nutrient inventory/stock maintenance, Day Tank maintenance, Nutrient
- maintenance and RO system maintenance
- Ensures compliance with all policies and SOPs.
- Willing to perform processing duties and other duties as needed.
- Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and repetitive movements
- Will be required to wear PPE at times
- Prolonged exposure to humidity, and high intensity artificial lights
- Must be able to move and/or lift a maximum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl while working with ladders and heights

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One or more years of cultivation experience preferred
- Ability to pass required NJ CRC background check
- Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
- Knowledge of basic commuter skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and a flexible schedule when needed
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task with effective time management
- Willingness to comply with state regulations and guidelines
