PLC Maintenance Tech
Construction Trades Staffing is seeking several skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to join our clients team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
As a PLC Maintenance Technician, you will be primarily responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems and associated equipment.
This facility relies heavily on automation and technology, and your expertise will be fundamental in minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal performance.
You will collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance production reliability.
This position requires a thorough understanding of PLC programming, electrical schematics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems and related equipment.Perform regular inspections and predictive maintenance on machinery.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in automation systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades and modifications.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
Train and support production staff on best practices for equipment operation and safety.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the workplace.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field; or equivalent experience.Proven experience as a PLC technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
Strong understanding of PLC programming languages (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
Knowledge of electrical schematics and circuitry.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation.
Excellent troubleshooting skills in PLCs and industrial control systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
