Dining Services oversees over 30 dining locations on campus with residential dining halls, retail dining, concessions and catering. The department employs over 850 employees in a typical year. In addition to serving food to the campus community, Dining Services also works in conjunction with departments and various groups in planning their events and ensuring university requirements are met.
Partial Year Career Position is for 10 months at 100%. Must work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Under supervision of Food Service Manager and or Cook, Food Service Worker will assist with the preparation and serving of food, proper food handling, proper knife and equipment handling, proper sanitation, set-up of line in orderly fashion, customer service and cleaning of equipment including pots and pans.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $20.69- $21.50 (Hourly).
Required:
- Knowledge of food preparation.
- Knowledge of safe food handling guidelines.
- Operating equipment correctly, stocking ability.
- Cleaning and sanitizing.
- 1-3 Years Experience in a food handling environment
- 1-3 Years Experience working in the food service industry performing food preparation, dish washing, and/or hospitality services related to food management, catering, etc.
- 1-3 Years Ability to focus on customer service with both peers and customers to create an exceptional experience
- 1-3 Years Customer service experience required.
Preferred:
- Skill to communicate clearly to a variety of people.
- Speak, write and understand the English language.
Special Conditions:
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and special events.
