We are looking to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to our IT Consulting team based in Hauppauge, New York. This role involves maintaining and managing all aspects of accounts payable while ensuring data accuracy, efficient invoice processing, and payments.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable using the NetSuite accounting system, ensuring precise data entry and invoice processing.
- Use Microsoft Excel for the analysis and reconciliation of payable reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Work closely with various departments and external vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies and prepare payments.
- Ensure all financial processes and policies are adhered to when dealing with invoice discrepancies and payments.
- Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, and Coding Invoices.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
- Maintain precise customer credit records.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is essential.
- Familiarity with Check Runs is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to code invoices accurately.
- Proficient in Data Entry tasks.
- Extensive experience in Invoice Processing.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are expected.
- Knowledge of Oracle software is a must.
