Manufacturing Technician / Orbital Welder - Malvern

A leader in providing high and ultra-high purity gas delivery systems is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician / Orbital Welder to join their Production Department.

This position is crucial in the precision welding of components within a clean-room environment, utilizing semi-automatic orbital welding equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and job travelers, coupled with excellent manual dexterity and mechanical assembly skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures.
• Position, align, and set up components according to precise specifications.
• Identify and address faulty components, testing and inspecting welded surfaces for quality assurance.
• Safely operate orbital welding equipment, adhering to standard welding procedures.
• Accurately complete production paperwork and maintain meticulous records.
• Uphold a clean, neat, and safe work area, following 5S practices.
• Willingly work overtime as required to meet production deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the availability of components and equipment resources.
