Director of Finance

Hybrid Director of Finance Opportunity. Experience with Government Contracting is required to be successful in this role.

We are offering a key role within our manufacturing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role centers around the job function of VP/Director of Finance, where you will be integral in overseeing all financial planning and analysis for the company, as well as managing financial aspects of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial planning and analysis division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial status of the company
• Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance the company's profitability
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making for the company
• Utilize skills in budgeting and forecasting to plan for the company's financial future
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing, interpreting and presenting financial data
• Collaborate with other company departments to ensure financial goals are integrated into company processes
• Ensure the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
• Identify potential areas of financial improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancement
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and executives regarding the company's financial performance.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting and forecasting
• Proficiency in financial analysis to aid strategic decision making
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting financial information to board members and other stakeholders
• High level of integrity and professional ethics
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (such as CPA or CFA) is preferred
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to strategize and implement financial policies for the organization's growth
• Familiarity with financial software and systems used in the manufacturing industry.
