We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our client in Carmel. IN. If you're a passionate, self-starter looking for a dynamic and progressive work environment, we would love to hear from you. This role is 8am-5pm M-F and is on-site.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the seamless operation of the office environment. They will be tasked with supporting numerous office functions, including but not limited to managing schedules, making travel arrangements, organizing files, and handling communications.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties or take messages.
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Support manager and employees through a variety of tasks related to the organization and communication.
- Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or office admin assistant.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Proficient in English communication both verbally and in writing.
- High School degree; additional qualification as an administrative assistant will be a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.
