Sr. Accountant

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely financial reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounting: Oversee and ensure accuracy in general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Month-End Close: Drive the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and accruals.
• Audit Support: Assist with external and internal audit preparation by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and accounting principles.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Analysis: Perform variance analysis for financial results and provide actionable recommendations to management when necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with FP& A, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other departments to ensure financial consistency and alignment.
• Systems Proficiency: Maintain and improve the utilization of ERP systems and accounting software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• At least 3–5 years of general accounting experience, with prior experience in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and accuracy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of compliance reporting and experience with audits is a plus.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA.
• Experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, or regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, manufacturing).
• Familiarity with implementing AI platforms for accounting or experience in AI-driven financial analysis.
