The Opportunity ...:
As our Part-Time Manual Machinist– you will report to the Production Supervisor.
On a given day, you may:
- Manufacture components in accordance with routing, work order, verbal and written instructions, prints sketches, charts, tables and other information relative to the work at hand.
- Operate a variety of machining equipment (lathe, mill and drill), manual and CNC.
- Perform job set up requirements.
- Perform required shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions.
- Use judgment to perform a sequence of setups and operations within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
- Use measuring instruments to ensure proper fit of components.
- Perform self-inspection and test of parts upon completion of jobs
- Must have experience with Manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders)
- Manual: Bridgeport Mills; Knuth Vertical Lathe; South Bend Lathes
- CNC: Haas Mills, Mazak Mill, Mazak Lathe
- Must be able to use calipers and micrometers & read blueprints
- Minimum 2+ years experience
- G Code programming at the machine
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position is fully onsite & no travel requirements
