Technical Maintenance Mechanic - Pro Tapes
Overview:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automated slitting and packaging equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of software-driven and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on slitting and packaging machinery.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software-related issues with automated equipment.
- Mechanical Repairs: Use mechanical tools to repair machinery, replace worn parts, and address emergency breakdowns.
- General Facility Maintenance: Periodically handle general tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing electrical sockets, etc.
- Documentation: Maintain logs of maintenance activities, repairs, universal waste & hazard safety.

JOB REQUIREMENTS- 5-7 years of experience
- High school diploma or GED required. College a plus
- Expertise in working with software-driven machinery.
- Proficiency in mechanical repairs, including tools and equipment commonly used in an industrial setting.
- Basic electrical knowledge (for minor facility maintenance).
- Ability to work with diagnostic software or maintenance management systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift or maneuver equipment in excess of 40+lbs. Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment.Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.
