Transactional Attorney opportunity!
Robert Half Legal is excited to work with a premier Los Angeles law firm looking for an associate attorney to join the transactional real estate team. The firm is extremely stable and focuses on high-end work largely involving real estate and real estate financing.The firm is open to hybrid work, but regardless of
Associate Attorney Duties:
- Legal work encompassing – drafting and reviewing RE transactional agreements.
- Lots of purchase & sale agreements
- Do clients lease out the space after they develop it?
- Leasing agreements – I will find out if this is commercial/retail/office/residential
- Construction development agreements.
- Primary focus in finance and joint venture. – Financial structuring agreements
- conference calls with opposing counsel and clients.
- Usually they will have 2, sometimes 3 people on a deal.
- Depending on the attorney’s level, they’ll be working with a partner or working with a junior associate. Eventually, this attorney will be responsible to handle matters alone.

Compensation:
- The firm has flexible billable hour requirements depending on the attorney. Pay is commensurate with set hours and bonus potential is based on revenue brought in and other intangibles beyond billable hours!

The ideal associate attorney must live local to Los Angeles, be a California-licensed attorney, and have a JD from a strong law school.
Additional requirements:
- Transactional real estate law experience, ideally in finance but not necessary.
- “No task to small” mentality – nobody who has an ego or thinks helping on small things.
- Good schooling and/or big firm experience.
