Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Clean and maintain spatial and non-spatial data, set up processes that ensure data being collected is accurate, complete, and consistent. Spatial Analysis: perform intermediate geospatial analyses, including documenting processes to support project goals.
Map Creation and Data Visualization: create detailed and accurate maps and other data visualizations to communicate project objectives. Application Design and Development: create and maintain Esri applications on an enterprise and online system, configure widgets and tools, and design based on agency guidelines.
Collaboration and Support: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects. Provide training on GIS tools, as needed to agency staff. Documentation and Reporting: Create metadata, document workflows, developing and maintaining standard work, and prepare reports as needed.
Skills Required: Desired Skills and Competencies: Experience in Esri s ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online systems, including Web App Builder, Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Survey123 Create maps with high quality cartographic skills for use in reports, presentations, and public outreach Conduct intermediate level spatial analyses in ArcGIS Pro and document process for reporting Developing basic custom interactive features and functionalities using Arcade in web-based GIS applications Conducting quality control checks on GIS data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to data standards and project requirements Knowledge of workflow automation (using Make, other software, or python) Work independently and collaboratively to clarify project goals, ask questions, and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Establish and maintain effective working relationships
