Accounting Clerk

You will also be involved in supporting our accounts payable and receivable, billing, and other accounting operations.

• Handle credit card payments and receipts, ensuring timely processing and accuracy
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to maintain the integrity of our financial data
• Manage accounts payable (AP), ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded
• Oversee accounts receivable (AR), keeping track of all incoming payments
• Take charge of billing tasks, generating invoices and account statements
• Process credit card reconciliation, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
• Perform data entry tasks, updating and maintaining accounting databases and spreadsheets
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting and analysis
• Manage invoice processing, reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the construction/contractor industry
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven experience in billing and invoice processing
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis
• Experience in processing credit card payments and receipts
• Proficient in credit card reconciliation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
