Medical Equipment Service Technician

This position will primarily work with customers, territory managers and cross functional departments within the organization to ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction. This is an in-person position based in the Lincoln, RI office; working hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide service and repair on all Sentec and Percussionaire products including replacing and/or repairing required components.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, test and perform routine and complex repairs on returned medical devices.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers via phone, teleconference, or email.
• Organize, test and update medical devices, install and replace hardware and software upgrades.

Qualifications/Education:

• Associates degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology, Bachelors preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a technical support and/or service repair position required; preferably within the medical device field.
• Experience with ERP systems (i.e. Oracle Netsuite) and QMS systems (i.e. Qualio, QT9) is preferred.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, problem solving and creative thinking skills.

Physical Requirements:

• This position regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis. This position involves repetitive motions throughout the day and is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
