IT Systems Specialist

Overview:

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting BrightView employees’ information technology needs. This position will provide top-tier technical support for the service desk team and serve as a resource for other technical support team members.

They will implement technical services that affect the enterprise and seek to constantly improve our overall IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Work on BrightView’s Service Desk team to provide advanced support for laptop and desktop computers, network devices, phones, cameras, and mobile devices
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex or multifaceted technical issues with minimal supervision
  • Follow up on unresolved or repeated tickets
  • Work with vendors to implement projects and resolve any outages or issues.
  • Implementation of infrastructure projects and maintenance of Azure, Microsoft 365 and other cloud technologies
  • Maintain systems for user and endpoint security, inventory tracking, and system deployments
  • Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail to identify trends, reviewing and updating documentation, etc.
  • Serve as a trainer and primary technical reference for computer and user support groups.
  • Excited by challenges and learning new technical skills

Qualifications:

Required Education/Degree:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology related field or comparable experience

Required/Preferred Certifications:

Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator, Security Engineer, or Entra Administration are preferred

Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or any Microsoft Associate certifications are a plus

Required Work Experience:

5+ years of experience working in IT support group required

3+ years working with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 required

2+ years working with Azure cloud services, Entra ID, and/or network operations preferred

2+ years working in the healthcare industry preferred.
