Contracts Administrator Needed!

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Salary: $22 - $27 per hour, Contract to Hire

Overview of the Contracts Administrator position:

A family-owned construction company in Albuquerque is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support project management and contract administration. This role involves managing project documentation, processing billings, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities for the Contracts Administrator position:

Contract & Compliance Management:

o Assist with contract review and ensure all required documentation is complete.

o Coordinate insurance, bonding, and tax compliance requirements.

o Maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, and project documentation.

Project Administration:

o Set up and maintain project files, ensuring proper documentation from initiation to closeout.

o Support Project Managers with project budgets, change orders, and tracking deliverables.

o Organize and track submittals, RFIs, and compliance documentation.

Billing & Financial Coordination:

o Prepare and submit customer billings per contract terms.

o Process and track change orders, payment applications, and lien waivers.

o Assist with financial reporting and ensure accuracy in the ERP system.

General Administrative Support:

o Communicate project updates with internal teams, customers, and vendors.

o Ensure project deadlines are met by proactively managing administrative tasks.

o Assist in maintaining office organization and process documentation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration, construction administration, or

a similar role.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Experience with construction management software (Procore, Textura, GCPay) is a plus.

Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Knowledge of construction practices and terminology is a plus.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week with potential overtime.

Monday-Friday starting at 8 AM.

On-site position in Albuquerque, NM.

This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of construction contracts and project administration.
