We are offering an Administrative Assistant role, based in Bridgewater New Jersey, United States. This position is a contract employment opportunity. The Administrative Assistant will be vital in managing both general office operations and specific fundraising efforts.

The role involves an array of administrative tasks along with significant involvement in grant tracking, reporting, and compliance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling day-to-day office operations including scheduling, answering calls, and managing emails
  • Maintaining and updating records, documents, and databases regularly
  • Assisting in the preparation, submission, and tracking of grant applications
  • Monitoring grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance
  • Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff
  • Supporting research efforts for new funding opportunities and maintaining donor records
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative documents
  • Managing office supplies and ensuring an organized workspace
  • Providing administrative support for the fundraising team and assisting with special projects as needed
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Proven experience of 2 or more years in an administrative role, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls efficiently
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in managing email correspondence and maintaining detail oriented communication
  • Experience with Razors Edge software or similar database management tools
  • Proven ability to manage fundraising activities and strategies
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in fundraising management
  • Proficient in database management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records at all times.
