Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Technician at our BAIC location.
Role Overview:
- Perform Inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking).
- Demonstrate proficiency with appropriate pharmacy equipment, systems, and technology.
- Assist with pharmacy inspections.
- Adhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.
- Compounding medications including chemotherapy in a clean room.
- Restocking supplies for the clean room
- Occasional deliveries to satellite locations
- Receiving and unpacking drug orders and supplies
- Any other pharmacy operational task needed for patient care.
- Complete annual competency assessments.
- Triage phone calls with courtesy and promptness and refer to a pharmacist when applicable.
- Maintain pharmacy files and records.
Key Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred.
- PTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPh T) required.
- Although prior chemotherapy experience is not required, having strong IV compounding skills is beneficial.

- Able to handle and manage crises effectively.
- Known to deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.
- Able to follow through on commitments and act with a clear sense of ownership.
- Resourceful and make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information.
- Able work well with others and is flexible to a variety of responsibilities.
Additional Information:
- Reporting to: Manager, Pharmacy
- Location: 300 E 66th St.
- Shift Details: M-F 7a-6:30 pm rotating shifts; 5 days a week.
Pay Range: $25.65-$38.42
