As a Staff Accountant, you will handle tasks such as general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and process improvement. This position comes with 7% annual bonus, 85%-90% paid healthcare premiums, 6% 401K match, 120 hours vacation, 56 hours sick pay, and 13 paid holidays.

This position is fully in-office and does not provide a hybrid remote schedule. They would, however, consider assisting with relocation costs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger
• Handle accounts payable operations to ensure all financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with company policies
• Assist with the month-end closing process and generate financial statements
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations on a regular basis
• Support the year-end closing process and assist in the preparation of annual financial reports
• Engage in the continuous development and implementation of process improvements in the accounting department
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounting and finance
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in managing General Ledger
• Proficiency in preparing Journal Entries
• Experience in carrying out Month End Close procedures
• Demonstrable proficiency in QuickBooks
