MicroStation Drafter
What You'll Do:
- This position primarily involves computer aided drafting of site maps, soil boring logs, soils boring location diagrams, and soil boring profiles
- Other responsibilities may include generating design drawings for retaining walls, reinforced slopes, foundation systems, drainage systems, or other engineering drawings
- Additional responsibilities include drafting engineering details and figures
- Assists with plan assembly duties from the direction of engineering staff
- Coordinates with multiple design disciplines and various team members for design and coordination of major projects and deliverables
- Ensure that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure adherence to established company or client stated MicroStation standards
- Transform initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction/inspection drawings Improve communications through documentation
- Work closely with project managers, project engineers, designers, and other draft technicians
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- High School or GED required, technical degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MicroStation
