We are looking for a qualified Cost Accountant who will be responsible for assisting in the analysis and maintenance of cost accounting systems. This person will work closely with senior accountants and other finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and aid in making informed business decisions.

education: Bachelors

• Inventory: Coordinating and conducting physical inventory counts, updating costs, and tracking overhead costs
• Cost-effective improvements: Analyzing month-end and year-end reports to identify and recommend cost-effective improvements
• Production economics: Planning, studying, and collecting data on raw materials, labor, and inventory
• Cost accounting systems: Maintaining and updating cost accounting systems and records
• Cost analysis: Calculating and analyzing the cost of producing goods and services
• Budgeting and forecasting: Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Data collection: Collecting and organizing cost information into a database
• Cost formulas: Determining and calculating formulas for fixed and variable costs
• Reports: Preparing reports for multiple departments within a company
• Variance analysis: Conducting variance analysis to compare actual costs with budgeted costs
