CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Drafting/CAD Technician III.

Pay Rate: Based on experienceWork Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: AAS in Drafting/Design or Mechanical Technician

This role involves the use of integrated systems for computer-aided design (CAD) to represent and specify mechanical and architectural structures. The Drafting/CAD Technician III will prepare detailed drawings, schematics for mechanical equipment and structures, and utilize advanced CAD techniques.
This includes performing engineering calculations, preparing, and revising technical specifications. The technician will be responsible for producing high-quality designs that adhere to project requirements and deadlines.
Requirements:- Considerable technical and content knowledge of the job.
- Ability to understand and apply practical applications, solving complex problems independently.
- Full mastery of common situations encountered in the role, with limited need for supervision.
- Able to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Strong understanding of CAD tools and software, with experience in SolidWorks and EPDM being preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Frequent coordination with individuals outside of the immediate work group, with potential sensitive communications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: AAS in Drafting/Design or Mechanical Technician
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in CAD, with strong proficiency in SolidWorks, EPDM, and MS Office.
