Physical Therapy Assistant - Rehabilitation Support Specialist
Job Summary:
Support the delivery of physical therapy services by implementing treatment plans designed by licensed physical therapists. Work closely with patients to facilitate progress, document outcomes, and ensure continuity of care.
Responsibilities:
- Execute treatment programs based on physical therapists’ established plans.
- Provide regular feedback on patient progress and condition.
- Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in discharge planning and recommend continued therapy when necessary.
- Participate in team meetings, clinics, and student supervision as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
