Financial Data Analyst

We are in search of a Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will be tasked with interpreting financial data, generating insightful reports, and aiding in data-driven decision making. This role is in the industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

• Analyzing financial data gathered from various sources.
• Creating and improving data analysis procedures.
• Generating reports on financial information and presenting findings to leadership.
• Conducting industry research and analysis to identify and predict trends.
• Identifying trends in financial performance and risk, and suggesting strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Collaborating with IT teams to enhance data collection and analysis procedures.
• Complying with privacy and data protection laws in all data collection, handling, and storage practices.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and the management of expenses. • Proven experience in Data Reporting and Data Analysis
• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of ASC 606
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial data management
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and vlookups
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills to address data discrepancies and anomalies
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with other financial data analysis tools will be an added advantage
