Special Procedures Radiology TechnologistDirect Hire PositionPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Procedures Technologist to join our dynamic medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various specialized radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or other qualified physician.

This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities:Perform specialized radiographic procedures such as angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and other fluoroscopy-guided examinations.Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.Operate imaging equipment with precision and accuracy, adjusting parameters as needed to obtain high-quality images.Assist physicians during procedures by providing technical support and anticipating their needs.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies.Document procedures accurately, including patient information, procedural details, and any relevant observations.Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.Requirements:Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Valid California state fluoroscopy license.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with specific experience in special procedures preferred.Proficiency in operating fluoroscopic equipment and other specialized imaging modalities.Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Apply today to get a full overview of the hospital, setting, and benefits this position has to offer.
