THE POSITION
Project Team Leader, Continental Automotive Systems, Inc., Auburn Hills, MI:
Act as project lead during quotation phase for Business Area User Experience products (such as Full Digital Cluster, Display Solutions, Head-up Displays and Software Assets). Define project goals (financial, schedule and quality goals) and define project core team members.Set up initial project plan in accordance with the Business Area's valid processes (e.g. phases, deliverables, milestones, etc.). Track the project progress and define corrective measures if deviating from the plan. Control released project budget and project resources per approved project plan and report the project status using the valid tool and process set.
Install and perform professional change management. Perform risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of risk measures. Actively manage stakeholder expectations, information and involvement of stakeholders on a regular basis and in an appropriate manner.
Telecommuting permitted up to 40%.
Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Project management or development functions in a multinational organization; andManufacturing processes for electronic and display products.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Leading cross-functional, international teams; and
Managing direct customer relationships.
Must have 1 year of experience utilizing at least one (1) of the following project management standards or its equivalent: CAP0103128 (Product Creation at HMI), CAP0303420 (Project Management Method), CA_1014378 (Discipline Quality Management in Projects), PDMK (Product Development Method Kit), CA_0509203 (Material Life Cycle), or CA_0311016_ID (Change Management).
International and domestic travel required up to 20%.
