We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team in based in Englewood Cliff, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate record keeping, and assisting with other financial tasks within the team.
This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Handle billing tasks and ensure all charges are accurate
- Review and verify expense reports for accuracy
- Ensure data entry tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with a team of six individuals within the department
- Assist with account reconciliation and bank reconciliations as needed
- Support the month end close process
- Provide support for payroll operations when necessary
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping is necessary.
- Proficient in Data Entry and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to handle Month End Close tasks efficiently.
- Experience in managing Payroll.
- Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper is a requirement
