Accounts Payable Clerk

This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that will involve tasks such as managing vendor payments, handling rent and utility payments, and assisting in check-runs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor payments through ACH or wire transfer methods
• Process incoming payments for rent and utilities
• Assist in executing check-runs
• Handle invoicing and invoice matching tasks
• Maintain and update financial records with high accuracy
• Utilize Sage Accounting Software and MS Excel for various accounting tasks
• Perform accounts payable duties as per set guidelines and procedures
• Ensure all financial data is stored securely and confidentially
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations
• Use QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions. • Must have familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Experience with Sage Accounting Software is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required
• Knowledge of check runs is a plus
• No minimum years of experience required; entry-level candidates are welcome
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• High school diploma or equivalent education is required
• Prior experience in a hospital or social assistance environment is a plus.
