Platform Engineer

Although the environment is fast-paced and dynamic, you will be expected to deliver autonomously.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions autonomously, acting not just as an engineer but also as an architect.
• Collaborate with the operations team to drive change and hand off completed projects.
• Work on building a reusable platform that developers can easily utilize.
• Deep dive into Azure, transforming to Terraform across deployments, with some exposure to AWS & Google Cloud.
• Integrate or fit technology changes/application requirements into the existing infrastructure.
• Code high priority items to support app delivery on release dates.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with changing directions quickly.
• Work on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) projects using Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Participate in software development activities as required.
• Ensure the efficient functioning of the DevOps processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Proven experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of DevOps engineering principles and methodologies.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and services.
• Proven ability to code and script in various languages.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of network architectures and services.
• Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technologies and trends in the tech industry.
