What the job entails:
Plan and execute sales plans and programs to achieve the sales objectives and revenue targets of Venture Smarter
Manage and oversee the daily activities and performance of the sales team, and provide guidance, support, and direction
Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives, and evaluate their skills and competencies
Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and reports, and analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and opportunity
Establish and maintain positive and long-lasting relationships with customers, and understand their needs and expectations
Negotiate contracts and deals with customers, and resolve any issues or complaints
Collaborate with other departments and teams, such as marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities and initiatives
Stay updated on the latest market trends, industry developments, and competitive intelligence, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; master's degree or certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a tech or consulting industry
Proven track record of achieving sales goals and revenue targets, and leading and managing sales teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and stakeholders
Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and empower sales representatives
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment, and adapt to changing needs and expectations
High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer orientation, with a results-driven and growth-oriented mindset
