PT Bookkeeper

We are looking for a PT Bookkeeper to join our team in the tax consulting industry, located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will handle daily bookkeeping tasks, manage payroll activities, and ensure efficient and compliant accounting practices.

• Streamline and maintain an organized accounting system
• Post transactions to accounts and conduct regular reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including checking invoices
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions in line with accepted accounting principles
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Cooperate and liaise with taxation and auditing teams
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial planning processes
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
• Review and update receivable, payable, and inventory procedures regularly. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a must
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is essential
• Proven experience in Bookkeeping is mandatory
• Data Entry skills are needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience in executing Month End Close activities is necessary
• Demonstrated ability to manage Payroll is essential
• Proficiency in Creative Solutions - UltraTax software is a plus.
