Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders and subject matter experts, with a primary focus on the Local Public Health (LPH) project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Salesforce architecture solutions that span business processes, hardware, applications, networking, and platforms.
• Develop technical frameworks and components to address enterprise-wide needs.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Provide technical leadership in Salesforce architecture.
• Work with the Enterprise Applications Support team to optimize Salesforce solutions across legacy platforms and new developments, including reviewing custom code and integrations.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and middleware engineers to define scalable, cost-effective solutions.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements, technical architecture, and design specifications for infrastructure focusing on standards, scalability, security, and performance.
• Build cost-effective infrastructure solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Present findings and recommendations effectively to business and technical leadership.
• Consult with various teams to maintain architecture designs aligned with business strategy.
• Conduct vendor code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Review technical designs and provide recommendations for feature additions and improvements.
• Monitor Salesforce health, performance, and governance, providing reports and recommendations.
• Map functional requirements to Salesforce features and provide governance for platform adoption and lifecycle processes.
• Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
• Lead risk assessments and remediation planning.
• Evaluate and recommend Salesforce AppExchange products and technologies.
• Provide biweekly readouts on findings and recommendations.
• Review and recommend improvements to the SDLC process.
• Work with Agile methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize Salesforce APIs, including SOAP, REST, and BULK APIs.
• Guide and mentor team members on Salesforce best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Salesforce certification preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce APIs.
