About the Role:

As our Executive Director, you will be a transformational leader responsible for the overall growth, development, and operational excellence of our integrated behavioral health centers across Pennsylvania—including Bryn Mawr, Philadelphia, and Yardley.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities – Executive Director

As Executive Director, you will lead with vision, drive operational excellence, and expand access to high-quality behavioral healthcare across our Pennsylvania locations, including Bryn Mawr, Philadelphia, and Yardley. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on operational management to ensure the seamless delivery of evidence-based substance use and mental health treatment while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Operational Management
  • Oversee all clinical and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with Kolmac’s mission and treatment philosophy.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinical supervisors, site managers, and support staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Manage daily operations across all locations, ensuring efficient scheduling, program development, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Partner with senior leadership to set and monitor clinical and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement policies and procedures while driving continuous operational improvements.
Strategic Growth & Financial Oversight
  • Lead expansion efforts, including the successful launch of new practices in Bryn Mawr and Philadelphia and growing the census at Yardley.
  • Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to build community relationships, strengthen referral networks, and increase patient engagement.
  • Manage and optimize profit and loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
  • Work with leadership to develop and execute annual budgets and business growth plans.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to enhance program sustainability and meet or exceed financial goals.
Community Engagement & Advocacy
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance and supporting advocacy efforts.
  • Engage with community stakeholders, businesses, healthcare providers, and support organizations to strengthen Kolmac’s presence and impact.
  • Represent Kolmac at community meetings, professional associations, and healthcare events to drive referral development and strategic partnerships.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all business operations and clinical functions comply with state, CARF, and internal regulatory standards.
  • Utilize performance metrics and data analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Oversee high-quality documentation and data collection, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Staffing & Professional Development
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management for all team members, ensuring a high standard of care and professionalism.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, professional development planning, and ongoing staff supervision to maintain excellence in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with HR and training teams to provide continuous education and ensure staff meet all licensure and training requirements.
Facility & Administrative Oversight
  • Oversee facility operations, maintenance, and upgrades, working closely with the VP of Real Estate Development to ensure a safe and functional environment.
  • Work with the site admin team and office manager to manage billing, payments, and administrative efficiency.
  • Regularly visit locations to ensure operational consistency, team engagement, and quality patient care.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on clinical, operational, and financial performance to Kolmac leadership.
  • Attend and contribute to executive and strategic planning meetings.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and group sessions to reinforce Kolmac’s treatment philosophy.
  • Drive innovation in program development in collaboration with senior leadership and clinical teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Kolmac’s mission and continued success.

Qualifications:

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling).
  • LPC or LCSW licensure with supervisory approval in a Drug and Alcohol program.
  • At least 5 years of progressive management experience in multisite behavioral healthcare operations.
  • 5 years of experience in managing and delivering successful healthcare and financial endeavors is required
  • 3 years experience in a supervisory management position within the human service field
  • Experience in substance use disorder treatment (minimum of 3 years).
  • Proven ability to manage financial responsibilities, including P&L oversight.
  • Experience in program development, strategic growth, and launching new services.
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania state regulations and CARF standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Board approved clinical supervisor (preferred)
