Weekend Receptionist

We are looking for a meticulous and service-oriented Weekend Receptionist to become a part of our team in Walnut Creek, California. As a Weekend Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in managing visitor interactions, handling incoming calls, and managing data entry tasks.
This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:- Manage incoming calls, transfer calls as necessary, and ensure messages are taken and referred appropriately.
- Receive visitors, understand the purpose of their visit, and guide them accordingly.
- Handle all email correspondence and ensure all inquiries are responded to promptly and accurately.
- Perform assorted clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and sorting mail.
- Maintain and update various logs, including incident reports and wake-up calls.
- Handle emergency calls from residents and nursing staff and provide appropriate directions to emergency vehicles.
- Accept and manage deliveries such as flowers, packages, and mail.
- Manage data entry tasks for administrative staff and ensure accuracy of records.
- Arrange transportation for residents as needed, including van rides and cab services.
- Keep track of routine records such as census lists and resident directories. • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Part-Time Receptionist is essential.
- Proficiency in Receptionist Duties is required.
- Experience with handling a switchboard and managing phone lines (1-10 lines) is necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills are critical.
- Ability to transfer calls effectively and efficiently.
- Proficient in Email Correspondence.
- Must have experience in Computer Data Entry.
- Prior experience in Data Entry is a must.
- Experience in Senior Housing would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with the operations of an Assisted Living Community is a plus.
- Knowledge of Assisted Living Residences is desirable.
- Must be available to work during weekends.
