Medical Scheduler

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Scheduler in the healthcare industry, based in Nashville, Tennessee. The role will involve managing patient appointments, handling inbound calls, and utilizing a range of healthcare and customer service software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize various software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, CRM, and EHR SYSTEM to manage and process patient information.
• Schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient and accurate coordination of medical services.
• Handle inbound calls from patients, providing high-quality customer service and resolving any inquiries.
• Assist patients with any billing functions, ensuring clarity and understanding of medical charges.
• Monitor and manage patient accounts, taking appropriate action where necessary.
• Work within a team environment to ensure the smooth operation of the healthcare facility's scheduling and customer service functions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and patient rights.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met and appointments are scheduled efficiently.
• Utilize your skills in 'About Time' to manage time effectively and maintain an organized work environment.
• Proficiency in ADP
• Financial Services
• Experience with Allscripts and Cerner Technologies
• Comfortable with CRM systems
• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM
• Knowledge of About Time software
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively
• Capable of Assisting Patients with various queries
• Experience in Billing Functions
• Proven experience in Call Center Customer Service
• Must be capable of maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
