Nurse Practitioner – Cardiothoracic Surgery (High Pay Range)

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered NP with a specialty in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Minimum of three years of experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular ICU.
• CPR, ACLS, and BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of post-operative cardiac care and hemodynamic monitoring.

Duties:

• Assists in cardiothoracic surgeries as a first assist.
• Manages pre- and post-operative cardiac patients in ICU settings.
• Orders and interprets EKGs, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterization results.
• Manages ventilator settings, chest tubes, and post-surgical hemodynamics.
• Collaborates with cardiologists and intensivists for optimal patient outcomes.

Pay: High weekly pay range: $3,500 - $4,500 per week
