Roseann Mabry has the honor of placing a Assistant Benefit's Manager on a direct hire basis for a very special client. The Assistant Benefit's Manager position has opened due to a promotion. The Assistant Benefit's Manager will have 2 direct reports handling the Benefit strategy developing a comprehensive plan that aligns with the growing organization's goals to continue to be the company of choice and to retain and recruit top talent.
The Assistant Benefit's Manager will research benefit practices, market trends, design benefit packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs and initiatives. This position will also design communication strategies which include newsletters and video content.
Must be able to give presentations in front of large groups of employees. This role will travel to various sites during open enrollment. Advanced Excel is must for this position. This role will be 4 days in the office and one day remote. The annual salary for the Assistant Benefit's Manager will be up to 100K plus bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and stay updated with benefit practices and market trends to align with the organization's goals
  • Develop comprehensive benefit strategies including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
  • Design effective communication strategies, which may include newsletters and video content, to disseminate information about benefits
  • Deliver presentations to large groups of employees about benefits packages
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for various tasks and data analysis
  • Supervise and oversee the work of two direct reports involved in handling benefits strategy
  • Assess compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers in the benefits space
  • Handle inquiries and issues related to benefits administration, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role or related field
  • Proficient in Benefits Administration and Design
  • Skilled in creating competitive Benefit Packages
  • Experience in managing Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Dental Benefits
  • Proficiency in administering Employee Benefit Plans
  • Knowledge of Self-Funded benefit plans
  • Strong skills in Communication Design
  • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
  • Ability to develop effective Content Strategy
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas
  • Ability to assess compliance with laws and regulations
  • Experience in Supervisory Oversight
  • Ability to perform Data Analysis
  • Experience in managing Vendor Relationships
  • Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations.
