Job Responsibilities:
Positionreportsdirectlyto the PMA260 Deputy Acquisition Lead,Common Aviation Support Equipment Program Office (PMA-260)serving as an acquisition analystsupporting the Common GroundSupport Equipment (CGSE)Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL).Positionappliesanalytictechniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzesrequirements, status, budget, and schedules;performsmanagement, technical, or business case analyses;collects, completes, organizes,and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
Position willserveas the primary liaison between the IPTL, the Procurement team/Contract Specialist, the Business Financial Manager (BFM), and the Acquisition team to help improve the quality and efficiency of the procurement process acrossthe PMA,as well asincrease procurement efficiencies, decrease cycle time, execute Acquisition Strategies, drive pre-awardcompetitive procurement conversations, and improve Support Equipmentdelivery timelinessto theFleet.Dutiesmay include performance of additional tasks onanas-needed basis.
Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD, and some telework may be authorized on a case-by-case basis.Requisition #ESI0129
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline related to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs within the Department of the Navy (DoN).
- BA/BS degree. Allowable substitution: AS/AA degree and an additional 2 years of experience OR a HS diploma/GED with an additional 4 years experience.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have working knowledge of the acquisition process and tools including:
- Procurement Management Tool (PMT)
- Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT)
- Procurement related Tableau Visualizations
- Active Secret level DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
