Sanitation Supervisor
The supervisor will lead a team of sanitation staff, implement cleaning procedures, and continuously improve sanitation processes to maintain a safe and hygienic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Supervise and train sanitation team members, ensuring adherence to sanitation protocols and procedures.
- Develop work schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient sanitation operations.
- Sanitation Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding sanitation and food safety.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness and sanitation levels throughout the facility.
- Cleaning Procedures:
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities.
- Oversee the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks.
- Training & Development:
- Provide training for new and existing staff on sanitation practices, chemical usage, and safety procedures.
- Keep records of training sessions and ensure ongoing education for team members.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in sanitation processes and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to food safety and quality.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Prepare reports for management regarding sanitation performance and compliance issues.
- Safety & Hygiene:
- Ensure that all sanitation staff follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Promote a culture of safety and hygiene within the team.
