We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team based in Garden City, New York. In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks including account reconciliation, data entry, and managing both accounts payable and receivable.

• Handle all aspects of bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to ensure financial information is up to date
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of our financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions for the month have been recorded
• Handle payroll responsibilities, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Use Timeslips for accurate time tracking and billing
• Perform data entry tasks as needed, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in our systems. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in account reconciliation processes
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) procedures
• Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) operations
• Proven experience in conducting bank reconciliations
• Strong bookkeeping skills
• Ability to execute accurate data entry tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in performing month end close activities
• Experience in managing payroll operations
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
• Familiarity with Timeslips software
