Seeking a passionate and dedicated Medical Assistant in Oklahoma City, OK! This is a full time, direct hire opportunity in which you will work closely with your team to support the patients in a primary care setting! We offer a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule, plus benefits, PTO, and more!

Job Duties:

  • Welcome members upon arrival and help them feel safe and at home, navigating through a seamless and clear check-in process
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals for a multi-disciplinary care team
  • Update member information in the electronic medical records system
  • Request medical records and upload documentation to electronic medical records system
  • Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e., foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.) required
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, but not required
  • 6+ months phlebotomy experience is highly desired
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required
  • EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
