Position Overview:
Distributed Mission Operations Manager (DMO) Program Manager (PM). Supports 645AESG as DMO PM by contributing to the design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment of RC-135V/W RIVET JOINT DMO systems. Represents 645ESG at DMO meetings and provides oversight to support contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between Headquarters Air Force, Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation, Air Combat Command, and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center concerning Big Safari RC-135 Distributed Mission Operations.
- Assist 645AESG RIVET JOINT PM and 645AESS Project Engineers on operational requirements as they pertain to DMO systems and associated technical issues.
- Attend DMO associated meetings/teleconferences. This includes: Standards Development Working Group; Test Planning Working Group; System Problem Report Working Group; and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
- Review and comment on DMO Point Papers, Standards Revisions, Implementation Strategies and Data Calls. Compiles and provides input to DMO CCB.
- Review and approve planning, editing, developing, and publication of DMO Federate System Test Plans and Federate System Test Reports.
- Assist the government in evaluating contractor generated technical data, technical manuals, test plans, and engineering changes.
- Coordinate requests for and submission of DMO Rough Order of Magnitudes and Budget Plans.
- Coordinate requests for Cybersecurity approvals. This includes Approval To Operate, Approval To Connect, and Interconnectivity Support Agreements.
- Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework requirements.
- Assist ACC, AFLCMC, and DMO Operations and Integration POCs on all DMO Requests For Information.
- Assist 645AESG RIVET JOINT PM in development of roadmaps for expansion of RJ DMO systems/locations.
- Articulate DMO systems requirements to ACC and AFMCLC as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a Master’s degree, 3 years’ experience with a PhD, or equivalent experience is typically required
- A current TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance.
- At least 5 years ISR-related operational field experience that includes one or more of the following: Airborne Signals Intelligence or Airborne C2 platform(s).
- Knowledge of IEEE 1278 for Distributed Interactive Simulation Protocols desired.
- Knowledge of Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO) Ref-010 Enumerations for Simulation Interoperability desired.
- Knowledge of SISO-Std-002 Link-16 desired.
$130,000 - $150,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
