Associate Consultant

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Associate Consultant in the Insurance industry, located in Boston, Massachusetts, 02110-3407, United States. This role involves conducting quantitative analysis, developing custom solutions for clients, and working collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Quantitative Services team to identify additional necessary data for modeling
• Develop custom solutions for clients by merging insurance, financial, and legal concepts to accurately model different scenarios
• Conduct quantitative analysis on policy exposure for high-risk insurance claims, and model loss allocation scenarios for mass torts
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and data reconciliation services
• Accurately collect, compile, and prepare data from different sources for the purpose of analysis • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated experience in risk management
• Proven ability in data entry and data analysis
• Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance concepts and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
• Professional certification in insurance or risk management is a plus.
