Propane Gas Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Propane Gas Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a great opportunity to join a union and take advantage of the benefits and job security it provides. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating propane-powered forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of materials to ensure efficiency and productivity.

salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Safely operate propane-powered forklifts to move products and materials around the warehouse or worksite
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
Transport products to designated areas for storage or shipment
Inspect forklift and equipment before and after use to ensure safety and report any issues
Assist with other warehouse duties such as inventory control, picking, packing, and general housekeeping
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 70lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
