Overview:

The position will conclude in June.

Responsibilities:

• Incorporate educational activities into play
• Creatively introduce colors, numbers, and other essential fundamentals
• Read age-appropriate books using your best voice impression of the characters
• Set positive modeling behavior such as kindness and manners
• Foster social skills and encourage communication
• Tidy up the playroom after use and sanitize any toys or items that may need cleaning
• Assist with snacks or feeding as needed

Qualifications:

• Patient and encouraging
• Familiar with Gentle Parenting and the ability to guide the child on how to talk/work through thoughts and emotions
• Fun, playful with the ability to keep up with a young child
• Collaborative and communicative
• Works intuitively and proactively
• Experience with Montessori or equivalent preferred

Requirements:

• Dependable and adaptable
• Ability to navigate a household where the parent works from home
• Must be able to commit to the entire term
• Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits:

The family is offering $35 to $40 per hour.
